Guided By Voices have one of the largest discographies in all of recorded music, so it shouldn't surprise me that I'm still discovering new-to-me GBV tracks that ripp. And yet, here we are. I'm guessing this is "classic lineup" era (e.g. pre-Mag Earwhig!). I love the false start and driving garage rock instrumentals, but the real star is Uncle Bob's beautiful vocal melody weaving and bending around the chord progression.
