As if you needed any other reason to want a Yamaha CS. If a soft synth is to ever truly capture the sound of an analog synth, it will have to be a 1:1 recreation, requiring an infinite level of precision in recreating the natural mechanics that power the VCOs and VCFs, etc. (Meaning it'd have to be some computer powerful enough that it can model reality on the subatomic level... good luck with that one.)
On an unrelated note, I'm still a little bummed that my site got nuked. There was never anything of real value posted, but it was still pretty funny, like the animated GIF of Josh Mitchell hacking into the mainframe.
