Playing in a pool hall in Tracy, CA, with Josh Mitchell on bass. There's a funny story about this show. The drummer for the band that played before us asked Alex if he could use most of his drum hardware, to which Alex generously agreed. YCDIOB played next; during our set, Alex's snare drum malfunctioned, so Alex asked the previous drummer (to whom Alex had loaned most of his gear) if he could borrow his snare. The drummer refused, on the grounds that his snare produced his band's "signature sound."
